COLONEL LEEYSAN

Postby S-D-M » Fri Jun 20, 2008 2:22 pm

I'M THINK OF GOING BACK TO SOMALIA AND START MY OWN MILITIA AND BECOME WARLORD

Baladhawo - A militia led by a Somali warlord name Col. Leeysan who opposed to Col. Coolpoisn aka jelwa, took control of the southwestern town of bardeere, killing most of Col. Jelwa militia.

Heavy fighting between militias led by two warlords broke out on Friday. The fighting in bardeere was between a militia, commanded by Col. Leeysan, and Col. Jelwa.

After heavy fighting at dawn, Col. Leeysan forces were in control of bardeere, 400km northwest of Mogadishu, by midday. All Col. Jelwa militia were captured a live or killed.

"The town is now peaceful, calm and the business activities are back to normal," Col. Leeysan said by telephone from Bardeere.

Casualty figures were around in the thousands. The two men have disagreed about who is related to who in somalinet.

The latest news that we are receiving from our reporter in Bardeer reported that a witness has seen Col. Jelwa bleeding from the right shoulder due to a gun shot. He was seen runing into the river bank with no body guards, pants or shoes..
