Walaahay Mareexaan waa ka dhamaatay? It used to be Dhabayaco that had always carried the name of the greediest clan in Somali politics. But the Ilka-Yars have replaced the Dhabayaco. Who is more important? Achieving pieace for Somalia or few ministerial positions? Waa yaab. Beesha Absame in Somalia who is more than two times than Beesha Sade in Somalia got just one minister. And remember even the democratic goverments in Somalia back 1960s, Absame has alwasy more MPs than Sade. The last democratically elected goverment, Absame had 8 MPS, while the Sade had only 3 MPs.

I wasn't even aware Absames were allowed to participate in Somali politics at that time.

Jokes aside, what is good for Marexaan is good for Absame and the other way around. You fockers should realize that.

Mahdi,
Every single goverment from 1960 goverment had one Absame minister at least. And guess what; it always used to be the minister of defence and remember we had only dozen ministers where the Ilka-Yars were never mentioned for ministerial position....Forget about J/hoose and J/Dhexe MPs which were too many throughout those years, here are the three MPs from Baardheere and guess what all three are Cawlyahan. Let me ask you a question; can someone who, according to you doesn't have a land, elect an MP?

Here are the three MPs from Baardheere:
EX/ MP Xuseen Hire
EX/MP Ibraahim Qadiid
Sheekh Xasan Khaliif

I agree. They should definitely go on with the meeting and the issues discussed should be regional ones for the most part.

I agree there was no Jubada Dhexe but the districts existed and had their MPs elected such as Bu'aale, Jilib, Saakoow and so forth. Remember that the elections were based on districts; not provinces. These cities were part of then the Ultra Jubba Region. The 3 or 5 Mareexaan MPs came from Dhuusamareeb, Caabud-waaq and Garbahaareey.
Now I know why Ilka-Yars respect Afwayne so much because of all the new cities such as Baardheere they got under him. I feel bitty when I see Iidoors and Dhabayacos complain about how Afweyne mistreated them. The Absame people are the ONLY clan in Somalia who lost entire cities because of Afwayne's administration. The story of Baardhere will be told years to come. Think about it; Just in 1960, that city was 75% Ogaadeen/Cawlyahan and today they constitute less than 5%. Very sad indeed.

How did Siyaad Barre force Ogaden out of Gedo? There was a tiny Cawlyahan population in Faafaxdhuun/Serinley area and they were for the most part like my fathers grandmother, women we had married from the Cawlyahan.
Ogadens never lived in Gedo in significant numbers and the few that did voluntarily opted out of living in Gedo for NFD under British gumeysi. You have better claims to Bakool than you do to Gedo. You crying after Gedo today is like a Marexaan crying after Hawdka and Sool/Sanaag area after we have voluntarily vacated those lands centuries ago.

Qansa;
Brother I am talking about very recently like 1969.Yes it is true that Somalis migrate and move from degaan to another but the loss of Baardheere was a political and strategical move by Siyad Barre goverment. I wish you could listen some of the Absame elders talk about this and how building the Baardhere dam cut through Cawlyahan people and forced them to move out. The way Somalis stay in cities is that if your clan is around the city; you are more likely to stay in that city. When Cawlyahan nomads started moving away from the city; then the city dwellers have disappeared slowly.
Mahdi,
I am trying to get you a list of all Somali ministers and their clan from 1960 to 1969(just before the coup) to show you that every single goverment, the Absames had at least one very crucial ministerial position when the Sade clan had none. I hope I am not debating an 18 old Iffo-born kid.
Here is the 1963 and 1964 goverments; and both of them Hilowle Mallin(Ogaadeen/Reer Isaaq) was the defense minister just like Gaandhi is the current defence minister:
http://www.banadir.com/63s.htmhttp://www.banadir.com/64s.htmRemember unlike the current goverment where clan pleasing is the norm; 1960s goverment was very small and effective; only about 13 to 15 ministers.

Ilko yar dump asses. yo just fooled again. first yo were givin non exiting ministerial position that has no power or influence wat so ever and again yo given a non sense ministery that were never heard before. they just created out of the blue. yo guys failed miserably in the political arena. yo are no active in TFG which at least gave the tamarta position. and yo ain't active also sharif group, yo are not supporting yo alshabaab leaders.
Support yo amir Turki, who is the only one so far has shown good face to ilko yaris. his army now controlls all of gedo and jubbooyinka. part of the shabeelada hoose and has influence in hamar.

Gudhad,
Ogadeen never lived in Gedo dude. You always lived on the Eastern Bank of the Jubba along with Raxanwein
The Juba river divides Sade land from Absame/Raxanwein land

Somalia's ministry position is useless
It's all about respect. Southern Somalia was invaded by Tigrays and Puntlanders
the braindead Sheek Sharif thinks puntland deserved the Prime minister post Why should we reward traitors?
The majerteen and Omar Abdirashid Sharmaarke wanted to humiliate the Marexaan, they will never forget (kismaayo 1998 and 1969 october 21)
the braindead Abgaals have no idea what's going on they let the majerteens give out the Darood's ministerial posts.
