i need to invest in that land, deploy my goods at mombasa port, drive them to mandere and then into somalia Beled Xaawo   i think i have finally located the best town in south somalia for us Rer Galgaduudians  the land has same sand as our beloved Cabuudwaaq, my Rer Axmed fam live there and this city is probally the most diverse city in terms of subclans within Sade, Al-itixad former base therefore the most stable city in Gedo in terms of security and i have noticed Rer Beled Xaawo are more pro active and pro development than other Gedo cities :P

Mashallah....

i advice marexan diaspora to group together in a mass investment into this land, we all know Beled Xaawo is the best City in terms of transportation in and out of somalia :!:

Comon, snoop caabudwaaq is good place too, remember it is the people make differences not the land, so if one doesn’t change his/her habit things will remain the same no matter where they are, look at galkacyo and garowe a desert towns middle of no where but have thriving economy…

Man it sucks we never got a high way. It's funny how none of the Marehan areas have paved roads built by the old government and everyone accuses that government of being biased towards us.

mahdi

Cabudwaaq is great and all but because of its location, security, neighbors, NGO support, tribal conflict, etc etc one becomes more attracted to Beled Xaawo, this is because today Beled Xaawo(with all due respect to the other deegans) is the safest Sade Deegan :!: .
Beled Xaawo :P let us make it the birth place for a Unified Sade where cooperation between our diaspora and locals can thrive, and where the blue prints can be finalized for a future Jubbaland and an Independent and militarily secure Cabudwaaq Gobol.

i believe if we focus all our energy on Beled Xaawo the other cities will benefit in the long run :Cabudwaaq, Garbaharey, Bardera, Kismaayo, Ceelwaaq, Luuq and many other strategic locations, this is because now they will have a "financial backing" of a strong and stable Beled Xaawo.

we have to face our short comings, mainly Finance if we dont have a large scale financial structure in somalia we are F'ed up, military sustainability and governance are all dependent on Finance ...with that said, there is not a single Sade Xawaalad  we lack financial structures(alot of money going to waste) and our contribution to better our deegans is minimal compared to other somalis :| did you know Dhahabshiil declared Cabudwaaq to have the highest rate of money receiving from Somali diaspora? even with the high increase in population i am sure Cabudwaaq is not comparable to Xamar  but still development remains frozen and so does Cabudwaaq.

Finance is the main challange facing us, but by concentrating on Beled Xaawo which has easy transportation to Kenya and their port we can over come it, and once we done so we can apply similar types of systems of governance, education, finance ect ect to the next strategic stop

mahdi do you think it was wrong to select Beled Xaawo due to lack of advantages or, do you think we should divide our support and development into subclan level so a Rer Hebel should spend on Rer Hebel land?

collectively focusing our energy at one point is much more effective than dispersing it all over an enormous landmass :P

this focus point should be Beled Xaawo as it is blessed with an easily contructable/mass scale/business potential

BaasAbuur

thats the spirit

investment by diaspora should go as follows:

starting from Beled Xaawo, Doolow, Ceel Cad and Luuq..... after those city have been build strongly we can move to Ceelwaaq, Garbaharey and Bardera, and from there we can move to disputed areas such as Kismaayo, Saakow, Qansax Dheere

our ultimate goal should not be Jubbaland but a strong GedoLand, CabudwaaqLand, KismaayoLand, once this is achieved Jubbaland will be inevitable, and the power holders will be no other than Sades 8-) ..

indeed, as we speak i am working on something that can give the diaspora a head start in understanding the endless possibilities and business potential in Beled Xaawo..

not so many people here on Snet agree with the idea of Beled Xaawo being the center of attention, can someone explain this :?: :|
