Rer Gedo are pastoralists not farmers. were nomads that came from North Somalia. before Somalida came to Jubaland waxa degi jirey Oromo iyo qurun kale and they werent pastoralists waxay ahayeen wax kale

most farmers in somali use to be Rahanweyn, Bantu iyo Bajuni laakin Somalida kale hadey barteen how to farm

No,he is not dumb ninyahow.All these Nomads did not choose to lead that kind of hard life but where compelled by lack of suitable Agricultural Enviroment.They would have preferred to own farms if they had rich Agricultural land.
The demarcation b.w A pastrolist and a hunter-gatherer is not even a clear cut one.So,how do want to compare a backward pastrolist and a civilized landlord?
