Snoop I don't hate the Suufis but I don't support them either. In fact if I had it my way I would probably pick them to rule Somalia over Al Shabab but with one condition. I would require of them to cut ties with Xabashida as I don't want those people having anything to do with how Somalia is run. I have several cousins who are die hard suufis and they are dead-set on believing that it is okay to be friends with the Xabashi. Waan ku kala dhimanaa taas. I will never accept Habeshi intaan noolahay aniga. Al Shabab on the other hand are the biggest enemies of the Xabashi (at least in public) and I give them two thumbs up for that but they are loose cannons and have no direction whatsoever. In fact I believe and I have always believed Al Shabab is a group created by non-muslims.Suufiga iidaa ina adeer, adiga dad ka daran baa ku heystee.

They are under the direct orders of Xabashi. I am not kidding you saaxib. They are not a free group and fall into the same category as Puntland, Somaliland and the TFG. They are armed by the Xabashi and there is even a special budget the Xabashi government has designated for treating wounded Suufi soldiers. Go to Addis Ababa and you will be shocked. Waxay u shaqeeyaan dawlada Ethiopia. I know it is about survival for them but they do take orders from the Xabashi.i had a similar discussion with Xoogsade and i stick by my argumen, they are self determined group, not everyone who opposes Alshabab is a Xabashi puppet. ASWJ involvement with Xabashi Gov is purely strategic military logistics and does not extend to political agreement. my second point is, ASWJ are not a religious movement but a security force established by the elders and the wadaado of Caabudwaaq who are mostly Suufi.t. i dont believe ASWJ are under the orders of Xabashi

So Goonjeex's people only live in Caabudwaaq?i hope adeer Goonjeex actually sees TFG for what it is and focuses on helping his people in Caabudwaaq whiles he is with TFG.

Murux, first of all let me say that I agree with you that one should not rush to decisions and should always play smart in order prevent exposing yourself to danger. Secondly I am not advocating for being neither an open enemy nor a covert one. But having a normal, neighborly, friendly relationship as you put it with the Xabashi is impossible. This is one thing a lot of the Somali politicians either failed to realize or are intentionally ignoring for reasons unbeknownst to me.Berke,
Always weigh maslaxada iyo sharta. To be a open enemy of Xabashida is suicide in today's status quo in Somalia. That being said, I'm definitely not saying be their bitch. But I definitely do agree to have normal, neighborly, friendly relations with Xabashida as neighbors. They stay on their side of the border and we stay on our side. Now to get to the specifics, I think what bothers You is the idea of a Government being installed, manipulated by Xabashida and that would have to be stopped, and fought. To Me its relative. If the overall lives of Shacabka is gonna improved by a Government that is Xabashi influenced, I would rather have that than chaos, qas, foodo, barakicin, etc.

I dont question your rationality? isnt he working with TFG now, if what u said is correct he wouldnt be under Macalin dugsi or sharrif. This guy loves Somalia and knows exactly who its enemies are. For this reason he will not be elected a prime minister of this ineffectual transitional government even when his election would not be a threat to them (those who call the shots) as this government controls nothing and no one.
50,000 plus troops is a huge presence sxb across the Ogaden but you are correct here nevertheless. We should look to Ogadenia where our Somali kin live under Xabashi control and that should give us an indication of what that is like. People there live in constant fear and although the Xabashi are not even physically present there their cold hearted Somali goons are and they have made the lives of the people impossible. If living under Xabashi would bring nabad and improve the lives of the people then there would never be groups like ONLF fighting, against all odds, the second largest army in Africa.
