Jubaland Official Flag

Postby VybzKartel » Wed Dec 22, 2010 1:22 am

Does anyone know if Jubaland has an official flag? When I did a search for Jubaland flag this is the image the showed up in most of the results. Who created this ugly flag and has it been adopted by group claiming to represent a future Jubaland administration or federal state?

Here is an image of the original flag of Jubaland when it was an italian colony/protectrate. This flag was created right after Britian ceded the region to Italy so that it can lure Italy in supporting its war against Germany. They had the nerve to add a freakin cross to a flag for a muslim population.

I think having a regional flag is good but it should be close to the national flag in colors and structure.

I could do a better one for them in photoshop

what do you guys think ? its a simple flag for a simple region, green represents the vast jungle in that region, vertical blue represents the Jubba river. :|

Not bad at all but both the green and the blue are a bit dull. A different - maybe a bit brighter - those colors would probably more it look much better. This blue in this little icon below is ideal I think.
