Your not making sense??

The thread is about Mowliid in Beled-Xaawo and Caabudwaaq.

I see the Sufi people have freedom to do what they practise. Are you calling their freedom a sad day? This time last year nobody had freedom in Gedo, now a Sufi, a Ciyaal Suuq, a mother, a father, a reer baadiye all equally have freedom.

Nobody is being forced to do Mowliid.

Besides isn't a sad day for Galgaduud? They celebrated Mowliid or you miss Al-Shabaabs rule in Gedo and thats why you didn't mention Galgaduud?

^^

Sad day in Caabudwaaq too, but Gedo was always way more Religious, and further removed from these INNOVATIONS in the Religion than Reer Caabudwaaq. Reer Gedo were always more Ahlu Deen than Reer Mudug. Its just sad after all these years, countless years of people in Gedo learning the right caqeedo these qubuuriyuun wanna take us back.

Its sad Reer Gedood have to chose between Khawaarij scum like Al Kilaab and bicdca fanatics like Ahlu Bidac Wal Jamaaca. Why not just a normal friggin maamul free from other, that doesn't make a mockery of the deen??????????????

Actually Gedo is the home of Suufism and Baardheere is the city of Suufism. Besides whatever ideology people follow it should not be an act of force. People have freedom now and can follow whatever they want aslong as they don't harm people.

Do you know Ahlu Sunna is composed of Sufist that were kicked out of their masjids around Gedo whom have fled to Doolow and joined TFG in order to eradicate Al-Shabaab.

The forces of progressivism have yet again prevailed.

People should be allowed to express their spirituality in any manner they deem fit

Lol Murax, the choice between Alkalab and ahlul bid'a as you put it is the fact that one enforces it's veiws on the population and doesn't tolerate descent, while the other doesn't force you to come out for such events.

Funny how the mawlid is a national holiday in All Muslim countries except one. Yet that one still has people who do it.

Here is a mawlid in Jeddah, no one is arresting these people, so why should we deny the choice for these people even if we don't agree with them?
