marexaan and 21st century

Postby Eaglehawk » Tue Feb 21, 2012 4:13 pm

History teaches us that nomadic people through migration conquest and alliance become powerful and will lead them to the first stage of state formation, in this regard the marexaan among the Somali is unique.
When the marexaan sultanate was dismantled to be relocated and established in late 1700, it was a defining moment; because of that action marexaan has learned and mastered the art of alliances migration and conquest.

The marexaan is a clan not constrained by dogmatic thinking and age old Somali statues quos, in this regard the marexaan shares that experience with European migrant in the new world, who were not bound by the vested interest in old Europe but who could change, adapt and bend their environment towards their interest. It’s because of the European aristocratic vested interest that old Europe was stagnating in early 20 century.
the rise of America was a defining moment in human history because America through scientific method and calculated methods create and moulded a nation with a unique state apparatus and in this regard America is the most successful nation building project ever to have been undertaken by humans.
The marexaan needs to study American state crafting because we share a lot

As for the marexaan of greater mudug, Israel Germany should be our model especially old Prussia because old prussia was surrounded by enemies yet the glorious Prussians developed methods to counter them and defeat them, Frederick the great is the basis for German military superiority and its was through bismarcks Machiavellian statesmanship that led eventually to German reunification albeit he was behind the partition of the Somalis through the berlin conference of 1884

Marexaan need limited and flexible institutions the reason am saying limited is because institutions can limit and constrain expansion, innovation and make one corrupt, complacent, short sighted, never the less institution is a must. what I have in mind is institutions whos core is based on trade supremacy (british empire), military and cultural supremacy (America), diplomacy (French), capital allocation and economic management with a mind-set of a war general (japan), parasitic internationalism (jews) and finally the supremacy of law(Rashidun Caliphate)

The marexaan has a opportunity that no other Somali has we have ungoverned prime real estate, strategic location for the 21 century we really have new America in our hands, how we shape it it is up to us
