Breaking news: Blast rocks the Capital of Jubbaland

Postby Garbo_Gedo » Sun Apr 15, 2012 8:08 am

Garbahaarey- 15.04.2012- The bombs that exploded in a busy Market today were intended for the "TFG" in Jubaland, the Garbahaarey police chief said.

Bystanders watched as a bomb disposal expert approached the attack site in the city centre, the large historical shopping centre in the Capital of Jubaland.

He did not give further details but said only that the targets were not the civilian.

The blasts killed two people and injured over 10 people.

Hours after the blast, suspects were arrested and held in custody.

The Defence Minister of Jubaand blamed the series of explosions on people from outside the regions.

"The attempted terror attack in the Capital of Jubaland proves once again that people against the peace and stability of the Jubaland continues to operate in the ways of terror and the latest attacks are an example of that," the Minister said while speaking at press conference.
