Shaikhaao are neither hawiye nor darood. In fact they stand alone and share no ancestors with anyone. They are said to have directly descended from the prophets lineage.

They will beg us when daroods treat them unjustly, walaalayaaloow na caawiya soo ma nihin hawiye kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Sheekow ku nacay.

My friend is sheekal..and the girl actually believes she is Darood..Hawiyaha way ka faanta.
your friend is a self hating xaliimo tell her you are hawiye ee hana sheegan iinkaar kugu dhacde  , but in all seriouseness qoftaas am asuming her reer abti are presumably caagdheer, and so she grew up in an enviroment where hawiye was the subject of the day (ofcourse in a negative way), and so that might explain why she does not want to associate with qabill that she was told was such and such... i know xawadle kids who's mum is darood, and they have been fed that they are darood not hawiye, there dad is in africa and has no clue to the extent his kids have been traumatised :(

Don Corleone, what you failed to miss about the Abadir part was that Eaglehawk was trying to insinuate that they are Marexaan. Abadir Musa warwajacle is a descended of warwajacle which 90% of marexaan trace their lineage.

There is a difference between sheikhaal and Sheikhaash
The Sheikhaash live in harar Somali galbeed close to the habr awal clans and the Absame clans
The sheikhaal the one in Somalia claim hawiye the one in Galbeed never claim hawiye , they claim sheikhaash and they claim to be descendants of the first Islamic Caliph Abubark ibn abdullah ibn abi quhafa. They also claim they founded harar city along with the Argobba people. So there is a difference between sheikhaal and sheikhaash.
