but family went and told me about it, apparently there will be a similar celebration every year from this point onward which is just great, I can feel the Somali renaissance is upon us fellas. I can't believe I missed it though, after having spent absurd amount of time reading and writing about Shire Jaamac(aun) I miss the first actual event dedicated to him the father of the Somali written language, very depressing indeed.
