This is how the clans shared the Jubbaland seats

Postby The`Republic » Sat May 11, 2013 2:56 am

This is not full list because what the other clans got is not announced yet, but this is what has come out today:

Of the 500 delegate seats choosing President:

On Regional basis;

Lower Jubba: 190
Gedo: 180
Middle Jubba: 130

On Clan basis:

Sade: 140 (just Gedo still not decided how much from Lower and Middle Jubba)
Absame: 116
Harti: 23

Of the state Parliament seats:

Sade: 22
Absame: 12
Harti: 3

I don't support the conference just listing what they agreed on.

That still leaves a little less than half of both delegate and parliament seats so seems like other clans will be getting close to equal of the "Darod" seats.

Absame iyo Sade la garay but its totally unfair to propose to give a small Harti minority in Kismayo seats numbers numbering anywhere near those of the other clans.

If you have read the article the brother has posted as the source of his thread, you would have known that this reading is based only on the darood section of the jubaland.. inshallah in due time the other somalis will get their fair share .

Inabti waad hadaad runta doonaysid.
The harti in kismaayo and nawaaxigeeda are far more than any village of the beelaha u mentioned earlier...combine them..and we still outnumber them...we are no less than half of the kismaayo population ..period...oo just to rub it in..if i could l would have devided my harti seats between sade and absame...this is a darood state with minorities..have as many as faysal cali waarabe meetings as u can..it wont change the inevitability of jubaland

Forget about Gaaljecel and Shiikhaal, Jareerweyne isn't even in the equation
This is recipe for failure. Why is everyone on the governments throat calling it all kinds of names when they clearly have a point to this madness.
