When is PM Abdiwali going to get vote of no confidence?

Postby The`Republic » Sun Jun 15, 2014 10:42 pm

This is a question I have asked myself for a long time. In my opinion the PM deserves a vote of no confidence. I wouldn't even mind if a non-Marehan replaces him

The Republic,

It's not his fault really. The Marehan politicians never cared about Marehan. Never in the history of Somali history. The Marehan politicians are more Hawiye than the Hawiye Siad Barre included.

We, Isaaq, knew removing Barre required manipulating the Hawiye not the Daroods. Once Hawiye turned on him it was pretty much over.

What you can learn from this is that there won't be no motion against Abdiweli because just like Barre and all the Marehan politicians that were more Hawiye than the Hawiye will only be removed by the Hawiye.

It doesn't matter how much Gedo cries. If Hawiye is satisfied then their adopted sons will remain.

The motion will come from Hawiye when their adopted son turns on his new father (President).

Hawdian, this isn't your Ethiopian analysis. Thanks for contributing though.

Btw the Hawiye "wanted" Farmaajo. The Hawiye also wanted Saacid. The elders and civil society both supported these men to the end. Farmaajo ran afoul of the international community and Saacid ran afoul of the ruling clique of any clan.

This is the first Marehan PM both Hawiye and majority of Marehan want removed and he seems to be somewhat secure in his status. This is what the question concerns.

PM abdiweli suppourts Jubaland because most Merehan believe in the idea of Jubaland.
They may not like who is in charge, but they believe in Jubaland as a concept.
Merhan has now freed Gedo from Alkabab what is left is to go into the Jubas and coordinate with Madoobe on clearing the rest of Jubaland.
Abdiweli understands that the formation of Jubaland is imperative for the future of Merehan, you are an idiot if you think this is not his goal.
You know why he didn't invite gedo SNA, they are darood, it would start trouble if darood were brought into shebeelaha.
Abdiweli is a total Daroodist, it is nothing to be ashamed about. He is working for the interests of Darood just HSM is working for hawiye.
The reason you see Abdiweli as a failure is because he told Merehan to swallow the bitter pill of sharing Jubaland with other Darood.
He basically told the Sade elders "you will never completely dominate the juba valley alone, you have to work with oagden"
Stop this Ahlu sunna none sense, Hawiye is always up to no good and it makes other Darood suspicious of you.
I say to Merehan join the Jubaland project, it is the only way forward.

Smile-

I supported him because I knew nothing about him. He was just named. Should I oppose anyone especially a Marehan PM when they are named. You judge people based on what they do and this disappointment is about what he has done.

Stop commenting everything I post with simple logic. It's a little boring and predictable.

Majeertaan Futo weyn why is'nt Mj Daroodist, what happened to your kastumo whores?

Merehan will always be PM and you will always be 2nd to Merehan.

Where did all that screaming get you, after Saacid another merehan took his place.

So you will always be in the shadow of Merehan.

Voltage

Abdi wali is a great strategist who's againist both xamar and puntland

What he's trying to create in jubba(looking after the admin directly as his political base) may eventually bring you from the back door.

Villa though watching him closely doesnt mind to see such a regional rival of puntland!.

If you want to remove him, turning the Marehan against him will achieve zero. You need to convince the Hawiye to drop him. Marehan can not remove him and even if their MPs proposal motion against him, it will be seen as a joke even by other Daroods.

What I like most about what Abdiwali Has done is He is putting the kibosh so to speak on the typical Marehan politican way of business in the past, which consisted of just running to Xamar and parroting some lowlife politicans in Xamar who are Anti Federalist for reasons that are not sincere. Why not try to establish a lasting instituton like a Jubbaland instead of sitting with Diirye, Xaad and some hoolligans who are actling like warlords masquerading as Hawiye odayaal dhaqameed? Even if this requires some temporary hard comparmises I'm still all for it. I'm happy to see the first Marehan who does push back and is firm in taking control of their constitutional powers is more secure because of it. Bottom line is the old way of doing things has not been good for Marehans. Learn, adapt, evolve.

Murax that is because he does not hideaway from the fact that he is working for the benefit of Merehan.
I like an honest politician who thinks of his people.HSM is doing the same thing by ignoring lower shebelle.
Abdiweli knows what his job is and is willing to pull his people kicking and screaming to what he thinks is good for them.

Sahal,

Personally at heart I am a Centralist, the Federal Model is horrible. But the truth is that there are not enough sincere politicans in the Centralist camp to gain the trust needed from the shacab. A lot of these politicans who are 'Centralist' are centralists for their own personal reasons. Therefore instead of foodo iyo qas why not just implement a Federal model as a bridge to a future Central Gov in the future?

Voltage why did you edit your entire essay saaxib,, any way i believe u are against the pm because he is reer ugaas sharmarke i sense a sub clanish undertone there , u are against because the PM leans towards the Jubba state admin where fartaag his cousin and he ignored your input or maybe that of ur clan , he wants gedo to be fully be part of the Jubba land state. U cant blame the gedo clashes on the PM , the PM does not represent Marehaan he represent darood 4.5 and to some extend the Somali government.
