It is surrounded by the river like Luuq but it is much larger. However there aren't any buildings there and the only thing you can see on Google maps is farms. It right outside of Bardheere. Does anyone know the name - if it has one - of this place?

I don't recall the name of the place, but according to this map, the area clearly falls in a region designated by the colonial powers as a reer Meygaag territory.

Reer Maygaag iyo Reer Qansax wixii leh ma aqaan laakin it is an interesting place. I know it is not a city or town/village but Somalis generally have names for even unsettled lands like this.
