Voltage the reason why the Marehan offensive wasn't covered in news or education is propabably because there was no person who stood out, for instance most Marehan are hard pressed to even mention 1 halyay by name, who fought against the british.

That is true. This is why you need to have one central organized leadership to rally around for symbolism.

The Marehan were running around like headless chickens each one doing their own thing.

Whereas look at Abdirahmaan Mursaal, duplicitous he was, you gotta give him credit. The man waa a leader and he actually expanded Aulihan presitage instead of Aulihan expanding his.

Voltage you need to seat your langaab ass down.

Marexan folks were outlaws with no address to locate you.you lived in the barren lands of Garbaharey and luuq

I caught you red handed once trying to claim the Serenle ransacking as being done by Marexan.

Tell me one significant raid that marexan carried in Jubbaland that killed the govonor of the British colony. The disarmament of Marexan was because you took weapons from British as askaris of the KAR but turned into mooriyaan stealing livestock from Cawliayahan had it continued it would have caused the entire Ogaden clan to take action.Which would go against the British interest.

Cabdiraxman Mursal killed one and raided their entire station so do you think that simpson cooked this up?what spy commits treason like this? And why do marexan footsoilders and interpreters of the British JL administration get redemption? Why are they awliya? Is it because with the closeness to the British you could fight the Awliyahan.

The chronicles were not written by simpson. The chronicles existed way before him. in your mind you want to attribute your insignificance to disregard it.

Maxamed siyad baree also destroyed more files he was given because it implicated his tribe as being colonial footsoilders.
He also created Gedo and resettled your folks in in Gedo.
What do you think brought down MSB government?
Bardheere was never a marexan settlement. They price of displacing the residents got you

Ogaden were the dorminant force in Jubbaland. While Marexan was struggling to fit in after they fled joining the Sayids campaign.

Gedo ceelwaq was a Garreh town

Garbaharey was a Garreh town.

Bardheere was Ogaden and Raxaweyn town

Bula xaawo was Garreh too

Only luuq which you settled with Dir was pridominantly A marexan town.

You guys were shifta. You served the British and trying to further your interest in Jubbaland using the weapons you got from the British as Askaris.

Why would I use Italian map while Jubbaland land was under Britain and was handed to Italy after probably the first world war or the second world war.1918.

I just gave you the account of C.Mursal who was Cawliyahan. He did more damage to the British empire interest in JL that even no marexan rival.

I havent even talked about Maxamed Zubeir.Because the only vlan that was formidable to Cawlitahan was Maxamed Zubeir.

Go keep yourself busy by creating maps that show marexan lived in Kismaayo.

The British colony prevented the Ogaden clan from expanding further into the Kenyan Hinterland and advancing into Nairobi. We were busy fighting deep into kenya fighting Maasai in Narok near Nakuru.
So the British empire prohibited the Ogaden clan from crossing over the river Tana as they feared that Ogaden would spread over and be a threat to their interest.

You took because of MSB propaganda of "Somalinimo"
I am just exposing your hypocricy and pathological lies.

You want the justification for Kismaayo and juboyinka while you were only a corner tribe in Jubbaland during the colonial Nritish rule.

Django,

I don't want you to feel like you are being ganged up on, but I just want to say don't you know I have traveled trough out the NFD?

I saw Garisa. I have even been to obscure spots like Habaasweyne and Masalani which is the Mecca of your own Cabdalla.

Sxb, dhul lagu faano ma arkin. Actually when I read the British say Marehan settled in the best part of the Somali territory in British East Africa Protectorate or read them say the long distance between Afmadu and Garisa is due to water insecurity because of lack of watering holes, I am not surprised.

In my travels there in the NFD, I think I saw Dante's inferno wallahi. You won't see a single human for ages because the land is so dry, deserted, and inhospitable. Like why did Ogadeen travel all the way to settle in another dry desert?? It actually makes me extremely nervous about seeing Mudug or Central. If it is what I saw in the NFD or even more dry, I would question how Somalis have lived there for so long.

Marehan were quite intelligent in my opinion. When they came from the deserts of central Somalia, they stopped when they saw this big, beautiful river called the Jubba and then they PLOPPED themselves right beside it in the part of the Jubba even the British called the best part of Somali country.

This is a British picture of Humbaale which is where MURAX'S OWN CALI HUSSEIN settle. It is in the Garbahaaray district.

Image

This is Lugh Ganaane, which is THE FIRST PLACE Marehan chose to settle permanently in the south.

Image

And this is Baardheere, the CROWN JEWEL of Marehan conquest

Image

I mean Somalis said gaal dil gartiisana sii. At some level, you have to commend Marehan for their intelligence.

They came from dry lands from the depths of hell and then they traveled until they saw, stopped, and overtime conquered the best land in the biggest water source anywhere in Somali territory.

But look at Ogadeen, why Afmadoow?? It's not even on the river. Why Dhooblay? Why Masalani?

No offense but they are all shit. They only seasonal watering holes aka boreholes aka TOG when and if rain comes.

Marehan depended on TOG back north and said HELL NO to depending on it once again. They claimed a RIVER!

Turb,

I have long since learned to understand Django aka The Patriot. He is actually quite clever in word play even if it is not always understood because of his writing.

Using the same place as a reference (the town in Gedo next to Mandera) he is saying when it was Bulo Hawo it was a diverse place, but it is not today as Beled-Xaawo.

Personally I would say he is correct in both although his reasons are wrong.

When it was called Bulo Hawo, the area was multi-tribal. Degoodiye and Garre did freely live with Marehan. So that IS the place that existed when it was called Buulo Xaawo.

The name was officially changed from Buulo Xaawo to Beled-Xaawo in the 80's. Shortly after that, the civil war started and very infamously both Garre and Degoodiye, especially Degoodiye, attacked Marehan from behind when USC was at our doorstep.

Actually a large reason for the temporary Marehan retreat which allowed USC to briefly hold Gedo is because Marehan had to regroup and definitively understand how many battle lines existed and which of our neighbors was either with us, was neutral, or was hostile and a member of the enemy.

After the defeat of the USC, Marehan is well known to have embarked on a revenge campaign against those of their neighbora who took up arms against them.

Degoodiye faced the biggest reprisal.

Before the were, they freely lived among us in northern Gedo. They lived in Buulo Xaawo, in Maalkariya, in Dollow, etc.

After the civil war, there was not even a single Degoodiye hamlet let alone village left in Gedo.

So even if his reasons are wrong, Django is right that Buulo Xaawo was a diverse place but Beled-Xaawo is not.
