My laf of reer Siyaad contains sanka ceel baxay iyo sagaalo irmaan, Ilaawe xilaqooq!

I am reer Abdille Mohamed Siyaad Diini Faarax Ugaas, the same family as Isaaq Biixi, Nuur Bidaar, Shareeco, etc.

The running joke in reer Siyaad is when Maxamed was born Siyaad said gaal hadaan dhalay Maxamed baan dhalay. The first reer Maxamed Siyaad to pray was in 1994 when Al Itihad came. It's fake, but the Muuse Gumcadle (Makaahiil/Ogaadeen) thing may be true. My grandpa (dad's dad) told me they (as in Bah-Xawaadle of reer Diini in Qalqalooc and Ulasan) raided Muuse Gumcadle more than they did Hawiye to the east.

Hawiye (especially Cayr and Xawaadle) used to fear them because they were ruthless to them but nimankaan Ogaadeen Daarood ahaan baa looga xishoon jiray until things got out of hand). At least three times a week baa lagu duuli jiray to teach them a lesson and when my grandpa was born the Muuse Gumcadle chief was slain.

You know it is weird, but it is true reer Siyaad IS the most resented clan in Marehan by other Marehans.

I remember I was 17 asking why this was so and my mom's sister was like because "waad xin badan tihiin" to which my dad who came in that night responded "Habar Ciise karin lay" (worthless Habar Ciise). Ironically my aunt owned/still owns the house two doors down across the street and her husband was also reer Siyaad (my cousins from her are reer Cabdille Siyaad and I am reer Maxamed Siyaad). He is very close to Murax because his mom is reer Ugaas and he flew to Virginia to be with his abti Ciise Ugaas Cabdulle when he was hospitalized there couple years ago before he died.

Reer Siyaad aad bay u xin badanyihiin apparently as my mom later confirmed but I am on one side a liberal American dude and on the other a Habar Ciise guy by emotional connection from my mom. My dad hates it but grudgingly admits the truth when I count how much guluf colaadeed reer Siyaad has brought within and outside of to Marehan.

I didn't know you were reer diini. What are you after reer diini? I am guessing reer dalal? Anyway this Samatar individual. Is that the progenitor of the reer Samatar subclan of Reer Sheikh? Also wasn't there Khalaf who was the rightful heir to the ugaasnimo?
