No, I haven’t been to Somali Galbeed. I was born in Addis. My parents and my grandparents all were born and bred in Somali Galbeed. I am Reer Wacays Qambi of the Axmed Garaad, 90% of my sub clan live in Somali Galbeed. My father was one of the waftis that visited Jigjiga and met the Mareexaans from Dhangago, Baabile and Dacawaaley and even as far as in Diridhabe areas. Some lost their land to Oromo. The Sade community in Uganda raised money to bring them to Caabudwaaq. They also successfully made Gaxandhaale as new degmo for Reer Gadiid clan (I’ll pm you that video inshallah once I find)No, Gedo Girl was reer Yusuf Maxamed Da'ud. I think she's related to Maslax's mother in law who is reer Yusuf. Maslax's wife is ina Cismaan-Nuur (reer Siyaad Diini) and she's the oldest of bahda reer Yuusuf.Voltage, I think you’re confusing reer Yusuf Maxamed Daud with the Yusuf of the reer Xasan clan. The westernmost Mareexaan waa reer Xasanka Negayle daga and then you have Ina Nuur and reer Garaad in Baabile areas. Khaliif Diini in Dhangago, Faafan region but you can also find all other Mareexaans in Faafan including Wagardhac iyo Awmidig
But maybe you mean Westernmost---yeah you are right reer Xassan would be the westernmost overall. I meant dadka kore, it seems like reer Garaad, reer Yusuf, ina Nuur, etc are the Western most.
To be honest I don't know much about waxa Etoopiya ilaa iyo hada dagan. My mom Galaadi ayayba ku dhalatay and intriguingly my dad's family are all originally from Qalqalooc, Ulasan, Laba baar, iyo Baarmagoog in Shilaabo but not a single soul is left there. They all crossed over into Somalia after the Ethiopians and Kulmis started their reprisal campaign in 1981. The ones that didn't move to Garbahaaray at that time all ended up there sporadically after qaxii.
Waxaan yaa ku kala baray Faafan siday u dagaan. Have you been there is this reer Garaad knowledge since idinkaba halkaad ku maqan?
