What you did there above is seemingly covered under what society has termed "sarcasm." It's a double edged sword; sarcasm, and the precarious justifiability reflects the lack of consensus surrounding just what exactly constitutes the "exact application" in the way the plurality of applicants have tended to exercise it.

Remember though, humor is not measurable (at least as I understand it); it is not a quantitative or exact phenomenon. Humor is OBSERVATION and therefore affected by PERCEPTION standing on all the influencing factors affecting the mode, method, and means utilized to extract stimuli from our environment for use as the largest influence on what we PERCEIVE.

The reason why I have taken issue (and disproportionately I absolutely admit) with your seemingly innocuous post is;)
1. I don't think I started a single topic or one with equities involved (I am human and may not recall obviously) where I opened a history topic to bash a clan or a Somali figure person.
2. I have never entered a single topic presenting history or Somali cultural life (and unless there was a legitimate intellectual disagreement) where I ever expressed anything other than encouragement, support, and thanks for expanding our support
3. Yet, forget even supporting let alone even responding in a neutral manner to any historical topic I opened, every single time you have addressed me was to
attempt to discourage the information sharing like one of these old passive aggressive cuqdad filled people who find even information as threatening if it isn't about their side.
4. I don't care if the Majerteen kid is presenting information about Cali Yusuf as the biggest expression of faan; wallahi I would absolutely welcome the information and would never attempt to discourage information sharing. I can critique the SUBJECT MATTER, but NEVER THAT IT WAS BROUGHT.
5. People frigging specialize in the Holocaust and within it some specialize in concentration camps. Historical information is historical information. CRITIQUE THE SUBJECT MATTER, THERE IS ZERO JUSTIFICATION FOR DISCOURAGING THAT IT IS EVEN STUDIED OR INFORMATION DISCLOSED.
Only people threatened by the very existence of the information try to shut people up and I have has a special bone to pick with you for that reason.
6. Finally, this all comes down to "Why ONLY Marehan."
The question says more about the rudimentary scholarship in the Somali people. Even the few historians we have were simply regurgitating the limited discourse WITHOUT EXPANDING THE DISCOURSE.

BUT WE NEVER EVER HAD THAT SPECIALIZED, NARROW FOCUS IN ANY SOMALI HISTORICAL SUBJECT.
NO WONDER THERE HASN'T BEEN MUCH DISCOVERY SINCE IM LEWIS AND CERRULI.
The post-independence Somali historians were trying to take ownership of over their ability to even tell our history.
They deserve zero blame. BUT MY GENERATION AND YOUNGER ARE NOW ENTRUSTED TO TAKE THAT AND GO FURTHER.
I would hope you stop discouraging scholarship if you weren't aware of it.
