Garacad port will solve our port issue

Postby grandpakhalif » Wed May 13, 2020 3:35 pm

Garacad in my personal opinion is the only viable option Marehan Mudug. We currently use Bosaso which is too far and requires alot of fuel. Horta Galkacyo too Bosaso road trip is safe the problem for us is traversing in Horde land past Galkacyo too Cabudwaaq. We can solve this issue if a road is built between Galdogob too Garacad, we can then connect Doolo/Wardheer regions from Galaadi to Cabudwaaq.

I hope DDSI strikes a deal with PL to reduce taxes at the border.

We need Garacad

Cabudwaaq and Balabnale never was in Somalia but in Ethiopia, hence why Siade Barre heavily armed those tuulo in order to resistant Ethiopia's claim over it since they are based there.

Its about time they were Officially cut of from Somalia since they physically are already border-wise deep in Ethiopia.

Nope Cabudwaaq is within Somalia, actually the demarcated border during MSB times was Raqqo but was later pushed back towards Burgeesoole. People forget this border is the most porous border in East Africa which is constantly shifting and changing. Yes we are inexplictly.linked with our Darood brothers in the West amd graze majority in Doolo. Why do you comment if you dont care? Garacad is already almost complete, finally we can determine and develop our future without traversing the barren lands of the Horde :stylin:

Mr. YUSUF, Yes we shall use Garacad as our future is more tied with PL and DDSI then backwater deserts of Eastern Galmudug.

Latest update small boats can now dock as need be in order to bring the rest of the construction materials required to complete the port

Wagardhac were smart and I sincerly love them for their absolute genius in allying with PL. In hindsight they have done Beesha a great service and will be recognized in the future as the ones on the right side of history.

Viva Garacad port !

Yes technically you can but you would still have to go through Sacad territory passed Wisil to Gelinsoor and in towards Dhabad. There is only one highway in Galgaduud and unless you plan on traversing on offroad terrain with a heavy set 4x4 land cruiser or xaajiyad (pickup truck) you would be forced to use that road.

Garacad would circuvent all this via Galdogob in through our DDSI degaans straight into Burgeesoole into Cabudwaaq. No more endlessly waiting on The Horde to civilize themselves into the 21st century!

Galgaduud terrain is more forgiving than koonfur (Kismayo to Bardera can take 2 days) I heard it's only around a 2 hour drive from Cabudwaaq to Balanbale. Good things in the future. Cabudwaaq admin was selling cheap land plots to help expand and develop the city there's already upwards of 100K people. Guul Reer Mudug

Now days Mudug people are mixed, for example, Galkacyo North, After MJ, 2nd are Wagardhac/Sade and 3th are Leelkase.
Goldogob for example 1st Leelkase, 2nd MJ, 3th Sade, Wagardhac and Celi.
So any city in Mudug you find mixing.
