This is the 3rd Gold standard academic source who has identified Emir Nur's origins after Harvel Sabestian and Kurt Wagner and the origin is Marehan 3/3

Emir Nur's spirit is the strongest out of any of Somalia's past---he is the ONLY historical character of Somalis to be definitively identified and he is the only one who still lives the deep imagination of his people.

I'm sorry, but no reputable source (esp, from the Futuh Al-Habasha book) ever states that Amir Nur as being Marehan. That is all fanciful lies perpetuated during the Kacaan era.

The mention of a notable (though, I'd hardly call him 'notable' in a positive manner) is Hirabu Goita Tedros

, who was cursed by Imam Gurey (AUN) for not answering to the call of jihad.
