Listen, I am a grown man and I am past the stages of identity crisis. I am not insecure about my identity at all and the more I realize we don't really know much about our history, the more comfortable I am with any intellectual or academic discourse that attempts to understand it no matter how complex it may seem.
When people grief, no one has a right to tell them to stop grieving. Grieving is a natural human stage and it must be allowed to be completed.
Similarly, coming to terms with identity is a natural human stage with most people going through it at some point between adolescence and mid-life.
You have a right to go through your identity forming process so I am not going to begrudge it, but I would advise you NOT to read my writings or engage me if it is going to trigger you.
I mean just the way you responded to me is unnecessary and should be avoidable.
