Fiqi tolkii kama jano tago

Postby TAATIKO » Tue Jun 25, 2013 11:37 am

those two persons and their history tells where somali nation is heading to.
one is a professor and the other one you may call him sheikh

Image
1- professor samatar. Education
B.A. magna cum laude, University of Wisconsin (LaCrosse), 1978
M.A., University of Denver, 1981
Ph.D., University of Denver, 198

Image
2- Skeikh Daahir aweys

During the regime of Siad Barre, Aweys was a colonel in the Somali National Army
1994-2002 head al-Itihaad al-Islamiya
2004-2006: Islamic Courts Union
2007-2009: Alliance for the Liberation of Somalia (ARS)
2009-2010: Hizbul Islam
2010--2013 AL shabaab

samatar went to his clan and mr Aweys did the same yesterday when he escaped from Godane

the question is can somali men be independent from qabiil?

According to you Somaliland= qabiil when its not. Btw have you ever seen Axmed Ismaciil Samatar promote clanism or Dir interests. He said, while addressing Somalis and their judgmental attitude "marna qofka kugu dambeeya ee shaaha kula caba ayaa lagugu xisaabiyaa." He also said " Yaan la odhan, Axmed Ismaciil nin qabiili ah o Dir ah ayuu noqday markaa Hargeisuu tegey" and this is way before his visit. So for me its absurd to see him next to that lunatic that has kept Baraawe in a hostage situation for years. Axmed Ismaciil respects the choice his people made. He's still a Unionist and he would love to see a new union between north and south but the reality on the ground is different.

If this man was clanist he would promote Dir interests all the way from Djibouti, Kilil 5 to Jamaame in the south and all the areas in between.

I have read an article in keedmedia with the title pro samatar from somali to samiroon

The guy has said south somalia is not for his clan or in other words its for two clans and the rest are not real mowatiniin

Going back to somaliland, logically, it means going back to his ancestral land, to his roots because he can be some thing important in there.

Clan also can be a cultural thing, the group whom you share identity with them.

He was talking about the clan alliances between Darood sub clans and Hawiye sub clans and their duopoly.

If the SL community wanted, they could've demanded the presidential post or the PM position when we were uniting in the 60's but the reason we didnt was out of Somalinimo and true brotherhood. We didnt have a wicked agenda. Our goal was clear, the unification of shanta Somaliyeed nothing else. Axmed Samatar saw what the older Somaliland community realized a couple of days after unification. The betrayal..

Somaliweyn died long ago and it was reer koonfureed that killed it. Hence why Djibouti didn't unite with Somali democratic republic because they saw how SL ended up. In this day and age there is nothing called Somaliweyn and reer koonfureed should give up that term. So if he doesn't believe in Somaliweyn anymore, it's a wise choice because only someone who's delusional would believe in that lie.
