There are two separate initiatives or let us say two scenarios for the hiiraan region; the official scenario and the local one
Until now the locals are not interested in being part of any other region while the govt has the opposite plan for hiiraan
Both of the two camps have reached an accordance/al tawafuq with this new administration(accord administration)
Only 6 months left for the locals to arrange their initiative, so far the hiiraan mps have secured 61 mps of one of the clans, are now campaigning in the other clans and then will come up with a motion in the parliament.
If they succeed in this, a conference to form a regional state will take place in baladweyne after 6 months when the term of this administration comes to an end
If they fail in this, hiiraan and another region have to form one regional state, the interior minister has the alternative but will wait first until the locals try with their initiative
He works now with the central state and southwest inititives to form their interim regional states and that why hiiraan has now a new official admin to avoid them.
