David Cameron and Nigel Farage have refused to rule out a deal between the Conservatives and Ukip after the election.

To sit alone you must have an absolute majority in parliament.....otherwise all of your legislation will get voted down.
It's how a parliamentary democracy functions. :snoop:

Well in Canada there have been three minority governments from 2004-2011 and the parties who won formed governments on their own without the need of forming a coalition. This is how it should be... not getting wack jobs or people with different platforms in your cabinet. It causes chaos.

Its better to have your government be defeated in budget votes or no confidence motions than be in the bed with the lesser of your enemies who is still an enemy btw
