A waamo family raising Lion cubs

Postby StormShadow » Fri Jun 27, 2014 1:15 am

Wlhi the amount of lions in jubooyinka is mind blowing. An 11 year-old geeljire relative of mine was taken by a lion a few months ago and only survived cuz the kid put his stick on the lions nose while half of his body was on the mouth of the libaax. Image

I'm concerned, are the cubs being properly fed and looked after? They gotta eat meat and run around all day or they won't last long.

It'll take time to get these people to accept a lion as a pet. They're even scared to touch the cubs.

They are wild animals. They are not supposed to be living in your house.

My uncle has a few lions too in his backyard but they were fully grown. Had them chained up for years. It was very aggressive. They would charge at anyone that came near them

IN 1996, there was a lion that was kept in afmadow but they killed the lion after 1 year because it grew too big and wanted to be fed alot of meat.

There's plenty of them roaming throughout the L/Juba eating livestock and humans. After all it's family house in Somalia so don't expect special treatment for xayawaans.

They need feeding every six hours, so I doubt they will survive in these conditions.

Abusing poor animals.

They're scared of lion cubs what would they do if they had a full grown lion in their backyard?

A lion up to a year and 2 months is not threat. I used to have them in my backyard since my neighbor back home owns a couple of lions

Waraabe,

Are you talking to me?

This is from my own backyard.

I took this pic a couple of years ago and the one you see is a full grown lion today with cubs of his own.
