Dude assumed the role of a spokesman and not a President whilst throwing toys out of his pram. The only thing Puntland only knows how to do well is stamp its feet repeatedly, quite funny and very embarrassing!

They thought they could create clan tension in the South without repercussion. It also shows us how amateurish they really are. For goodness sake at least take some time before throwing a huge tantrum fit.

Puntland cant be really taken serious u cant cut ties twice it makes no sense.. the whole pl leverage plan has been thrown in the bin. Puntland said or abdiweli said we will re establish ties with the SFG once the constitution is reviewed and the constitution is respected, nothing has been reviewed so far and pl had no ties with xamar. Now they have cut ties again supposedly , if pl wants to be taken serious and not their usual cantrabaqash attention seeking , why not declare secession and than the SFG will say come back and u will get something..

I see this whole meeting a step forward for the country. If they were serious about adding the three districts of Puntland( Jariibaan, Galdagob and most of Galkacyo) they would have invited them to the meeting or Gaas would have said he refused the invitation but they only mentioned Galmudug ahlu sunnah and ximan iyo iyo xeeb (some officials went and some didn't maybe because of their greediness). The vision 2016 of making south mudug a gobol of it's own will come sooner or later. If they declared South mudug a gobol of it's own right now it would create more problems. This is actually a good step federalism reaching the central regions before Hiiraan and middle shabelle. South mudug will either be a gobol or they will change the constitution in the coming years and just throw south mudug with galgaduud.

filin ayaa la idiin dhigay marka don't take gaas serious he is just playing along with the IGAD and EU initiative. waxan waa wax laga soo shaqeeyay.

Khalid Ali Puntland is what i call a stealth secessionist. Also i have always seen them not as military threat (unless its on the back of a mercenary tank) but more of being politically savvy.

It seems even that has now gone out of the window with this being left in the lurch Central state which now will politically/financially (obviously not physically -maybe int he future-) threaten their own state cos of being recognized by the devious IGAD EU Kay UN etc.

Something tells me the reason why Kay and the rest of his gang agreed with this has maybe to do with them trying to appease reer xamar due to that SW state agreement.

Now we all know (even those who wish for it) Mudug would of never been split cos it would of opened a pandora box so now imagine what would of happened if it gave Galmudug to Puntland. The only thing that comes to mind is Amisom experiencing what happened to the xabashi in 2007 a full blown mobilization from the average Hawiye .

Hilaac21 we shall see until then im keeping an eye on Prozacs 15 august deadline for those politicians from Puntland who are stationed in Xamar. FarhanYare Image
