Ismahan if my company allows me to i will work from home ... with my mini lab... designing and programming software's.. So i dont see a reason for my wife to be traveling around the busy streets of London Laughing

BTW me being at home and her bringing in the income would not be possible... becasue from a religious point of view... whats mine is hers and whats hers is hers... that would mean i would have to begg for hers.... and what kind of example will i be for my children..

Relax bro. I was dating this Xalimo who was making twice what I made and if we did get married, I wouldn't mind working part-time and taking care of lil Abdi.

After all, it would make more economic sense for me to stay home since she could make a lot more working.

If whats hers is your and vice versa...then you don't need to beg. You will also be teaching your girls/boys an important lesson about a woman's worth. I do however, I agree with you that we need not to lose our Islamic principle about family structure. Its important to bring up a family the Islamic way, I know I will.

Not according to the Great State of Maryland Family Court. I would be entitled to 50% of her income as alimony, along with child support & residual income for supporting her through school.
