Murax, you're right, I'm just taking a guess.

But you should all be happy that you have a government (Ethiopia) while us true Somalis have NOTHING. :x

Only MJ's that live in Galbeed that are known are Bicidyahan and even they are mostly leaving for Puntland. Marexaan have blocs of subclans there, and remember Balanbale, Caabudwaaq are on the border.

Issaqs are very small in number there, ever notice Why they always hesitate to turn OG's in unlike Pland? They fear for the Issaqs that live in Hawdka if they do that

It might be OG over us by a hair in Galbeed, We're a close second

It depends what metrics you are going to use,

land, administrative districts or sheer number (tirada tolka).

If you use any one of the above metrics I am sure you will be arrive a different conclusions.

However, If I make an aggregate assumption by taking into consideration of all the dimensions my list would look like this:

Absame - By far the majority (Jijiga, Dh/bur, Qorahay, Wardheer, Gode,Afdheer etc)
Hawiye/Dir - (both Liban Zone (Hawiye) and Shinile (Isse)
Issaq - Under dhegahbur zone, East Gashamo district and some villages under Awaare
Majeerteen - (some claim part of Wardheer, Danod and Bookh district)
Sheekhaash/Shariif/Gadsan/reer aw hassan - mostly dispersed in Ogaden inhabited areas.
Mareehaan - some villages in under Shilaabo and similarly in Wardheer areas.
