the sad fact is the ONLF only operates in 3 regions Wedheer, Korahze and Degehabur Zone 3 out of 9 regions of Somali Galbeed which is a small area of geoghraphy to be conducting an insurgency and whats even sadder is theses are areas are where the Ogaden clan live. Its restricted and confined to these areas showing that they do not have support from other Somali clans.They been fighting a weak low level insurgency for 15 years since 1995 the only ever significant attack was the Abole Oil Raid attack

if it operated in only ogadeen degaans then they would operatein 7 of the 9 gobols.
