Carabay was good but the title the greatest poet was given to Sayid without dispute 8-)

This is what The poetry of Salaan Arrabay, on the other hand, became an anti-war weapon. His best-known work, "O Kinsman, Stop the War," was an appeal to end a long-standing feud between two rival sections of the Isaaq clan in northern Somalia."Tradition has it," says Samatar, "that the poet on his horse stood between the massed opposing forces and, with a voice charged with drama and emotion, chanted the better part of the day until the men, smitten with the force of his delivery, dropped their arms and embraced one another."

waxa qoray B.W. Andrzejewski

Dee sxb are we talking about warfare or poetry. If its warfare fair enough Salaan was not a warrior and he did not spend too much time on my qabil is better then your qabil time of gabays, unlike like Ina abdillah Hassan who's whole gabays consist of very little outside ''I will kill you'' or ''I have killed''. One should have diversity. Salaan Carabaay was worlds ahead of the common reer miyi's. And his back catalogue is very diverse.

Arrawello, dont push it. I have stopped calling your mad mullah, mad mullah, now you want me to stop calling Afweyne, afweyne. Where is freedom of speech.

CoolPoisons, that is what the book called Somalia e Benadir: viaggio di esplorazione nell'Africa orientale. Prima ... By Luigi Robecchi Bricchetti says though, that the marehan galgadud areas were also ruled by Kenadid , if you don't believe me read it for yourself.

^^ the book's in talyaani, since when does Ur illiterate ass know anything about the italian language

we're talking about history that's 60 years ago. Im Rer Siyad Husein from Galgadud/Mudug My grandfather's history. are U gonna tell me about my own history. The only thing that's known about Kenadid's that he use to rule the Hutus. How can a Darod rule another Darod. do U think we're like the IIdors who gumeysi each other? only in Somalinet would U hear such things from the langaabs
