Ahmed Gurey was a man of influence, diplomacy and might. As are all Warsangeli who are worldly.

Name one civil war "battle" for Gelinsoor or Dhusamareeb? for one, Marexaan lived in a lot of places in Somalia, Sool, Galbeed, Mudug, etc. and moved on their own voluntarily. 100 year from now, if there is no Marexaan in Gedo and they all are in KenyaYou will say "They left because they were kicked out by Raxanwein". Marexaan, move and they capture new lands, thats what they've been doing their whole existance. On the other hand, I can bring You several battles, Where Caydiid was crushed trying to capture Balanbale, Caabudwaaq (Which He never captured). I can also bring You news reports, showing Marexaan fighting for Galkacyo for "survival" yet it wasn't really survival, per se it was saving Your arse after "Yaa darood ah". Ofcourse Your refutation to My sources will be "Waryaa, been low baad tahay. General, Shankataabte and 1000 Men from Bari recaptured galakcyo" or some shyt like that

As for the map, You will see that Marexaan's deegano on the Eitho border (Ximaan) is still there, and Wagardhac who are the furthurest Mareexaan into Mudug live furthur north in dhabad, gelinsoor, and golgodob district and the map reflects that.

Here you have a Marehan who is man enough to admit the occupation
Cadaado, Dhusamareeb and Gelinsoor is marehan deegaans ? you can add ceelbuur and guriceel aswell to your future fantasy maamul
ina adeer let us not fool ourselves, i will admit you are occupying my deegaans but you need to act as a man and admit your recent migrant to these places, especially Gelinsoor and Dhusamareeb.

the fact is Cadaado has been an extremely diverse place up until recently.

Abdalla11,

Snoop is not Marexaan, so a juvenile sheegato's words don't carry any weight with us. You can use it to substantiate whatever You want though. Secondly, My Grandfather was born in Shilaabo (before He migrated to Gedo) and most Marexaan Mudug here trace to either Wardeer, or Western Galgudud straddling the border with Ethiopia. Name one Marexaan here who is from Dhusamareeb.

As for dagaaladi Daarood Vs Hawiye, IT WAS ONLY MAREXAAN WHO FOUGHT FOR DAROOD FROM THE BEGINNING. MJ were encouraging, USC, SNM, etc. to come in Xamar and massacre all the Marexaans. You were all working for the anarchists. You joined, only after USC captured Galkacyo. You should be thanking Marexaan, instead of taking them as an enemy.

Saxib, it is quite normal for Marexaan to leave their degans for wherever the grass is greener, the migration of the Marexaan has been noted where mass amounts of reer Mudug have moved to the Jubba provinces, the migration can be seen as such.

Image

As you can see, Reer Mudug mass migrated towards Jubbada Hoose and obviously Hawiyes as the squatters they are automatically settled into these abandoned lands although we still have a major presence to dictate what goes on there. As for Galkacyo obviously I was quite ignorant at that time and I retract my statement, which holds no water today. As for the battle of Gaalkacyo it was a Marehan/Leelkase joint effort to clear USC factions, Majerteen played very little to no part in these battles.
