FYI: I myself am from Reer Isahaaq tribe, Haaruun Maxamed. I was born in Qabridahar and lived with my reer abti. My father was heavily involved in the ONLF
and we lost our property and businesses before fleeing to Kenya and going to the refugee camps.
wow. a non-secular reer isaaq? never heard of one before.. guess there's a first time for everything. although soma would say talafism borders on secularism or at least leads to it.

Reer Isahaaq waxey u badan yihiin ONLF sababa la xiriira admiralka iyo dhaqanka soomaalida ee ma aha secular iyo wax la mid ah. Melesna wuu garanoow mid reer cabdille ah ayuu ka dhigay madaxda kililka iyo Liyuu pooliska.

look, i've personally not seen or heard of a non-secular reer isaaq. no doubt that there a plenty non secular reer isaaq (some who're salafis like you) but i've not met or heard of one yet. so i was a bit surprised that you - a talafi - were a reer isaaq. no big deal.

also, you don't have to tell me how treacherous my reer abdille is - i'm well aware nor do i've any delusions of it. it's clear for all to see. and i'm certainly not the kind to let tribalism blind him to treason. far from it. i hate treason and hate it that much when someone or something close to me is guilty of it.

having said that, if you think your reer isaaq - or any other somali clan or subclan - is less treacherous than reer abdille or that your beloved "admiralka" isn't fighting for the cause of secularism then you're deluding yourself and letting tribalism blind you to the truth.

p.s. majority of onlf footsoldiers - those who couldn't care less about the secularism of your beloved "admiralka" and who're only fighting for their properties, land, dignity and deen - are mostly reer abdille, although they're individuals. so you needn't brag about onlf's secular side - mostly reer isaaq - like it's something to brag about.
