Allah Yarham Macalin Dhoodaan. Samir iyo Imaan to his Family and Somali people as well.
“Dhoodaan waa adiib weyn, waa nin naqdiya waxa jira, gabaygiisuna ma laha waxa loo yaqaan ‘laqsiga’ sida naago ammaanka iyo jacaylka. Waa nin ka hadla dhibaatada jirta sida khiyaamada, axdi ka baxa, caddaalad la aanta, is gumaysiga, iwm. Wuxuu gabaygiisa ku muujiyaa in axdi ama ballanqaad la galay laga baxay. Waa abwaan weyn oo adeegsada qaabka balaaqiga… Ma qabo inuu jiray abwaan aragtidiisa oo kale lahaa oo maanso ku cabbiray naqdigiisa, mid hore iyo mid hadda noolba. Waxaase ku dhaw dhaw Sayid Maxamed Cabdille Xasan.”[1] Sidaa waxaa yidhi Professor Faarax Dhaameel.

“Miisaanka gabayga Dhoodaan, iyo lafta iyo luddiisa waxaan ku tilmaami karaa inuu yahay kan ugu sarreeya ee gabayga Soomaalida. Intaa waxaa dheer waddaniyad uu ka daacad yahay” [2] Sidaa waxaa yidhi Halabuur Cabdullaahi Baddal Cabdi Qamaan.

“When dealing with weighty social and historical circumstances, Abdillahi Dhodan’s command of Somali language and poetic insight is in the same league as the legendary poets, such as Ragge Ugas and Qamaan Bulhan.”[3] Sidaa waxaa yidhi Axmed Ismaaciil Xuseen (Xudaydi.)
