An amharic saying about the Oromo doesn't reflect how 25 million amhara feel about the Oromo.
The amhara and Oromo created Ethiopia, the only independent African nation. The amhara and Oromo have intermarried on a massive scale.
The amhara and Oromo have been neighbors for centuries.
We don't have such a relationship with the Tigrayan or even the Somali.
Neighbors will always have issues but we agree on United Ethiopia and we have a common enemies in TPLF and abdi iley.
And Egypt was on live t.v. discussing arming the Oromo liberation army. Trust me if they see their only water resources threatened, they will arm Oromo and together we will fight the TPLF inside Ethiopia.
Those who side with the weak, minority, collapsing TPLF: are foolish and not looking at the bigger picture.

WHO lived there, then? Are Oromos pagans? Afars? because that's who you're stealing land from.
and where in the hadith did it say pagans can have their lands stolen? just curious, not saying you're wrong or right.
and the oromo are majority muslims. muslim oromo=27 million strong, aka, more than the entire zoomali population.
there is no such thing as land stolen these were pagan lands and its called jihad now these lands are dar ul islam due to the ogaden expansion and we will continue to conquer the pagan oromo lands. This is the difference between the somali and the oromo. You think that nationalism exists when half of your people are christian and pagans? it's fake. only islaamnimo exists. You should have taken the pagan oromos lands for yourself and their women but we beat you to it praise be to allah for oromo women.

whats wrong with you weak effeminate oromos? perhaps this is why the amharas made you their slaves also and a permanent underclass for 1000 years and they enjoyed your women like we did ?

Being on the so called "losing" side always has the most rewards and when the tplf defeat your peasant revolution permanently we will be ones reaping the rewards and enjoying your land as spoils haraghe will be ours all in due time.

The TPLF's reign is temporary just like our lives in this dunya is. i'd give them 1-3 years at the most, at this rate. perhaps you are either 1. not educated enough on what's going on in ethiopia or 2. you're just too stupid to see the writing on the wall.
the tplf is so weak, it has to beg the somalis to kill oromos on their behalf. the tplf is so weak, it is barely hanging on for life. the tplf is so weak, they are desperately training all tigrayan militias in tigray to fight the amharas and oromos.
it's only a matter of ''WHEN'' and not ''IF'' for the collapse of the TPLF.
and i predict this: the new amhara-oromo-gurage-sidama-konso-afar military regime will crush the liyyu and once again force the somalis there to be peaceful peasants/nomads.

it was not a jihad, fool, it was an expansion to steal lands because nomads always need lands and waters for their animals and to live.
it was not organized under an emir. there was no Islamic element to it. it had no so called traits of jihad, fool.
and the oromos of today and the afars are MUSLIMS, so what's your excuse when you unjustly spill their blood and try to steal their lands?

Mate don't worry about the Southern land you lost in JB and NFD. Those lands belonged to Pagans who had no form of civilization it was 100% Halal for us.

You on the other hand took land from Hararis and Somalis who were Muslim the land you squat on is Haram for you. That's why you are cursed today

As Somalis we must Make sure the Oromo/Amxaaro never rule our territory's, you see how this OROMO Thinks? That's how they all think. We must use them to destroy each other, Tigre, Amhara and their Oromo and who ever.. then Secede never again should Somali territory be ruled by Ethiopians.

Oromos are so divided that even if they manage to overthrow the tplf government they wont be able to negotiate among each other and will eventually eat each other, this "amhara and oromo " alliance wont work out, amhara wants to rule over other ethiopians while the oromos want the same. This waachis guy is all talk, sub clans of somalis are taking over oromo lands along awash river and so on and he is talking about knocking on jigjigas door.

Mengistu Haile Mariam was not Amhara but a hybrid of Konso (Cushitic), Oromo and Amhara.

He was more Oromo than Amhara. He was born amongst the Oromo particularly the Macha in Jimma. His mother was a Konso and Konso like the Sidamma, are closer to Oromo than Amhara.

His army was 60-70 Oromo and his generals almost all Oromo.

He deposed another Oromo (Haile Selassie).

The Eritrean issue pre-dates Mengistu and neither Menelik nor Haile had more control over Eritrea than Mengistu.
