These new Ethiopian peacekeeping troops will be replacing the Sierra Leonean troops that were there in Sector 2 Jubbada Hoose & Jubbada Dhexe who have left for their country.
Thoughts?

The good: Alshabab are probably shitting their pants, knowing the Ethios don't play around.
The bad: Jubaland is now a proxy for both Kenya and Ethiopia, a very tough position to be in.
I think it is mostly good news though. Alshabab must be flushed out of Middle Juba at any cost.

The tribes who are stakeholders in the region probably don't even see them as a threat but see their own small militias as bigger threats than thousands of foreign troops who on a moments notice can masacre people in their homes, hmm, like what happened in Kismaayo's Marehan civilian population.
Anyway I hope we can unite to protect our interest and eliminate Alshabab and put the mistrust between us 6feet under.

Ethiopia controls all regional states from S/land/to Ahlu Sunnah group to Koonfur Galbeed but no Cagdheer must fight Ethiopia everywhere while we backstab them and hand them over as trophies to gain Ethiopia's favour. Cagdheer will fight Ethiopia and continue to do so but there not suicidal either to open two fronts nor does anyone have the power to stop Ethiopia from going where it wants in Somalia. Ethiopia is only going to Jubba to monitor Cagdheer in-fear that it will become a host to the only group actually doing any fighting against Ethiopia.

There is really not much that can be done, I hate the idea but see no way out of it. The whole Kenyaati force was there as an alternative to Ethiopia but they have managed to find a way in now I guess. Madoobe is not one to stand in their way.

What is wrong with you cagdeers?
Ethiopians ba idin bartaay. First it was kilil 5, I can undrestand that, that is still part of ethiopia. But now they want to control jubbaland.
You people need to defend yourselves. Ethiopians and kenyas are a bigger threat than Al-shabaab.
Ethiopia's main aim is to take over Kismayo Port.
And FYI EEGA9 Ethiopian has no control over somaliland. Stop hating bro, somaliland is self governed. There are no ethiopian troops in any part of somaliland what so ever.
There don't even come to the beesha Isaaq in Hawd. I've never heard of isaaqs getting beating up by any Ethiopian, or any villages being terrorize in the hawd.

toga, my friend Somaliland is an ally of Ethiopia, we are not talking physical control over land here but political control. If Ethiopia's interests are threatened Somaliland will side with Ethiopia as will punt land and so on. Ethiopia keeps Somaliland in this limbo, they don't support secession rather they make a great deal of effort to make sure they keep you reliant on them.
If people in Hawd Gaashamo shoot at Ethiopians and ask them to allow them to exercise their political rights then Ethiopia will begin burning down your villages thats how it generally works.

Gartay.
Interesting thing to note, with this move Ethiopian National Defense Forces will be officially operating in 3 out of 4 AMISOM sectors. Sectors 2-4, with only Sector 1 Mogadishu and Lower Shabelle without ENDF presence. In the almost 1 year since Ethiopia joined AMISOM, there have been huge gains in the fight against Al-Shabaab. Inshallah the next year we'll see them mostly eradicated in Jubbas.
