yes it means the same in afaan oromo/the oromo language.
ilman oromo=children of oromo
we use that phrase a lot, ilman oromo. ya ilman oromo! tokkumma! tokkumma humna!

i agree,oromos share many with somalis.how do you see the changing geopolitics in the Horn of africa.

UAE Bases in assab eritrea port,Berbera and now in Bosaso(autonomous states),Turkey in Mogadishu and KISMAYO port Following suit'.

UAE is projecting its power in the Horn.

We do indeed especially in the east.
I could make a better judgement if I knew the intentions of the UAE.
Who are their allies in the horn? eritrea? somalia? somaliland? the oromos?
who are their enemies in the horn? ethiopia? tplf? sudan? who?

i am very curious to see how tplf reacts when it collapses....it has made tigray enemies from all over the horn...eritrea is on their border waiting for the right moment... the oromos and amharas...afars..and so on....
