the village jameeco sheekh bashiir is located 15km west of jowhar in the middle shabeele, it was founded in the 18 century by sheekh bashiir who has arrived from the near by yaaqbariwayne in the lower shabeele and belongs to abdi yuusuf hawadle.
his sons and his grandsons all were born in there and one of them is sheekh ahmed rashiid sheekh xanafi sheekh bashiir one of the 5 founders of al islaax movement.
