Postby abgaalKING » Wed Mar 28, 2012 12:46 pm

Greater Galmudug should work To peacefully incorporate ximan and xeeb in a mutually agreed upon method. You have a sovereignty claim all over galgaduud.Murusade and waceysle should work with galmudug in a local level and for the betterment of the region, abudwak should be incorporated as well.

Galgaduud + Half of Mudug = 1 and half. According to the Garowe principles Galmudug needs 2.5 or more regions or it risks being dissolved.

No one can dissolve what is intact, the garowe principles you are preaching are nothing more than papers which can be changed ,modified at any time. You have no right to talk about galmudug what so ever. :)

The 2.5 or more rule is already a law under the federal Charter and it will continue to do so once Somalia drafts a new constitution as agreed upon under Garowe I and II. Emotions aside sxb, it's only fair that all actors play by the same rules. If Galmudug can't fulfill that basic rule then it needs to be dissolved ASAP or Somalia risks becoming many Mini-States.

I will support 18 Mini states working together in unified federal system or a more inclsusive centralist somalia with its capital in mogadishu.A somali led initiative with all parties reaching a consensus is the way forward.

Galmudug president already feels the heat and wants Hiiraan to be included in his state

I think it was in Garowe II, the final communique in which Galmudug was told to work on its statehood statues. Aside from Puntland and Somaliland no other party fulfills that true statehood statues envisioned in the TFG charter, the closest I think would be Galmudug and its statehood statues is undecided since it seems their being told to work on it. You bet all just in name risk being dissolved if they can't to fulfill the two and half or more rule. Can Galmudug in time secure both Galgaduud and Hiraan since that's what it is going to take to attain a true statehood statues? Basically doing the impossible, I think not.

The requirement is 2 full states, not 2.5 or 1.5. Having part of a state does not count as more percent.

Galmudug has to absorb the rest of Galguduud and all of Hiiraan or Shabellada Dhexe to meet the quota. In the end I think we'll see them absorbing or uniting with Hiiraan and Shabellada Dhexe.

Murax,

Rer Cabudwaq are not far off. We already absorbed the Wagardhac. The rer Dalal will also come along too inshallah.

AbgaalKing,

I agree. Either 18 ministates or a strong central government.

D-Runner,

That rule was hatched by Abdullahi Yusuf (AUN) and was a ploy to give Puntlad an advantage over other groups. Since 1974, the provincial divide has favored Harti more than any other qabiils.
