The building of Villa Galmudug finally allows the government to get its own buildings as it inherited virtually no public office space from the former regime which built all of the major government offices in North Galkayo not even 1 primary school was built in South Galkacyo. Its a small space but was built with the support of many people ranging from livestock herders to Diaspora.
Other infrastructure projects coming up are the expansion of the Galkacyo Prison, rehabilitation of Villa Hobyo & Hobyo Airfield and construction of the Hobyo Docks. Oil exploration activities will start at the former Sinclair Oil drill sites @ Hobyo 1 and Hobyo 2. Shiid, if we hit the oil, we unlike others will share the $$ with all Somalis.
