Galmudug scored one with the new airport initiative in South Gaalkacyo. Less dependency on the only airport shared between everybody on the city. Also the best name was given to the airport, halyeey Cabdullaahi Ciise.

This airport has maybe 3 flights per day maximum. This is exactly why things like airports and ports need to come under central government control.

2 airports are fine but in places like New York, Moscow, London, Beijing. You know, really large cities. This is a city of a few thousand and the airport is only used by the diaspora, UN workers and some privileged locals.

Because if anything happens in Gaalkacyo, the main airport will have to be shut down. Galmudug will have a different avenue. Its the reality.
