Ali Mahdi signed off on a lot of nuclear and other toxic waste being dumped in that area. I wouldn't swim there.
Nobody knows where, besides that nature cleans her own wounds, all the somali seas are toxic, and people swim on those seas
 if nature cleaned it's own wounds then what is the point in dumping it in Somalia? Why do western countries spend billions of dollars and decades trying to clean?

Isn't Hobyo/Galmudug part of Puntland? :?
Part of Puntland? you must be dreaming

Facts or Fiction?

Hobyo is no were near MJ.

no one know Hobyo more then me, why because I was born near Hobyo " Gawaan" I am proud Riyoole Haskul Hawiye we live with HG, and i had the opportunity to travel my dads track back and forth the unforgiving coastal road " jid cade" between Hobyo and Mogadishu via the coastal road and seen from Mogadshu, Ceel Macaan, Cadale, washiikh, all the way to qosoltire xinbarwaaqo ceel huur and Hobyo.

Let me tell you, Hobyo is Habargidir Town Sacad/Saleebaan, infact Hobyo lays the heart of Saleebaan clan territory,

In Hobyo Saleeban subclan of HG are like the abgaals of Mogadishu they bring milk Grass, and meat to the city.

When you get out Hobyo all four corners minus of course the east which is the Ocean you are in Saleeban clan territory, In the South they start Xarardheere and end North of hobyo around 125 to 150 km North of hobyo, that is pretty much more then Mogadishu to Jawhar, when you go up Northethen Hobyo take my word all you see is the Saleebaan clans till 150km then you Enter Sacad Teritory until you get to Garacad which is like 200 KM North of Hobyo after that is the fist time you start to smell MJ.

Basically Hobyo Godan and Mogadishu Cadeey are Hiraab Cities do not confuse Hiraab as Hawiye, Hiraab is only one sub clan of Larger Hawiye, why i say do not confused because i have seen alot of people thinking Hawiye is only HG and Abgaal.

Sacad&Saleebaan stop making fool them self's and open Hobyo sea port which they close more then two dacates. Not only them but entire people of central Somalia will benefit .
