Just two weeks ago I briefly visited South Gaalkacyo for the first time in my life. Machallah magaaladu waa isku dhacaysaa, so much so, that I even dare say the posted pictures, as beautiful as they are, do not do justice to that great town. Too bad a town with so much potential has to be vacated every few months due to endless cycle of brutal and unnecessary qabiil wars.

It should be a demilitarized zone.
