Galmudug 2020 and Beyond

Postby Nolol cusub » Sat Jan 18, 2020 12:35 am

Five trends Galmudug(GM State) supporters need to know in the current state of Somalia:

1. Galmudug, the Habargidir clan, is one of the only 3 remaining Somali clans that still rule and manage their own affairs. Somaliland and Puntland being the other two.

2. As of 2019, Somalia has officially been divided into two camps: Al-shabaab territories, and free states of Somalia. The dividing line being Beledweyne to Xarardheere line. South of that line all the way to Ras Kamboni to Buuloxaawo is a defecto al shabaab territory. North of that line, starting with Habargidir subclans all the way to the border of Jabuuti is run and managed by the local clans(as it should be).

3. It could take less than 10 years for alshabaab to also annex these remaining region unless a concerted efforts are made politically, and military by the still standing regions.

4. Mogadishu's Anti terror government is not only run a woefully delusional minorities but is also ill-equipped to deal with ever more complex and fluid religio-pastoral realities.

5. Expect the business communities to flee to nairobi and Dubai as realities set in in the next few years.
