He apparently met with other leaders from North Somalia, based in Xamar, and issued a joint Communique on power sharing and representation between North and South Somalia, and was immediately attacked by Puntland politicians fronting for President Cabdiweli Gaas.

Puntlanders are right camey is the vice president of a region who have nothing to do with reer waqooyism , he is supposed to serve their hartism ideology which is totally against reer waqooyism. It seems Cabdi Xakiin Camey has grown a pair, though a little late in the day. I don't think he has even so much as built a toilet in his home town of Buuhoodle. What a letdown for a descendant of the distinguished Xaaji Camey whose stellar qualities were immortalised in the Ogaadeen poet Maxamed Cumar Dage ' s eulogy:
