Ok, lets say that this SSc state exists and the primary reason for establishing such a state is to maintain the unification of the north and south, pre 1991 conditions. That's all fine and dandy but, why do you need a state for your specific sub clan? You can't work with your neighbours Somaliland and dont want to share anything with them, this would even have been the case if Somaliland wasn't seeking independance, lets be realistic. In addition, you couldn't share an administration and work with your cousins to the East, Puntland.

What makes your case of wanting to be part and parcel of Somalia and working with your 'brothers' so different?

SSC don't want to be part of Somaliland. You can't force them to secede from Somalia when in fact Somaliland is merely a region WITHIN Somalia itself. Let them form their own administration and rule themselves. Somaliland has done nothing for them but wage wars against them and kill innocent civilians indiscriminately.

People in this region are clear about what they want. However, knowing Somaliland, they will probably hire puppets to undermine SSC.
