I think they do care, strong and united Somalia is essential to they security..and if they didnt care why would they host all the Somali peace talks and reconcilliation..

A stronger Somalia is a dangerous Somalia to its neighbors. When it comes to security, France and U.S already got bases there and can thwart any serious threat to Djibouti. Ethiopia and Kenya hosted peace talks too. In the end it comes down to personal interests so I don't think Djibouti wants to be part of Greater Somalia.

Reality is that we Support the Concept of Somaliweyn but we cant be part of it. The agreement with Canfar was as such but we are open to an EU like union with Somalia. I would say my parents generation were the last to support a fully intergation with Somalia but mine is against it. A united and Strong Somalia is in our best interest because to the north and South West of us are two Habeshi regimes.
