because of its Smallness Djibouti is protected by The international community. even all Somali clans Have an obligation to defend Djibouti than any where else outside their territory. Ethiopia can't claim Djibouti its 100% impossible. Djibouti will exist long after Ethiopia collapses.

back to this topic. Tanks are useless in modern day warfare. the most used weapons are.

1. fighter jets
2. Technicals
3. Snipers
4 Rocket launchers such as BM-21

Any thing else is show off.

I made an error in my first post, the casualty rate of the Eritreans was not treble that of the Djiboutians, it was double that according to Djiboutian sources. The Eritreans did not disclose any information as to how many troops they lost.

Well look at the active conflicts today all over the world especially Africa Technicals are the most used vessels . Tanks are not effective any more. Soldiers use Armoured wheeled vehicles when they are protecting themselves, 2 shoots of RPG can disable a Tank completely.

Number one priority buy fighter jets
Second technicals, third armoured vehicles and rocket launchers. Plus some gadgets such as sniper and night vision utilities.
