Djibouti officially opened an expansion of DMP this week.

Two more new ports open next month, one salt export and the other potash export.

Dameerjog and Tadjoura ports next year.

Train to Addis is operating.

Oil pipeline to South Sudan will be finalized as soon as they stop killing each other.

Revenue from all this going to free education, healthcare and the price of commodities are steadily coming down. Kerosene price is down 25%, sugar down 15%, and many others.

New Chinese co., has the green light to build 1,000 new homes. New construction in PK23.

Djibouti City to Arta will become one continuous mega city.

A quay of 655 m long (accommodating for up to 5 livestock vessels)
Animals collection area of 50 hectares (with capacity of 150,000 head)
An embankment with 4 sections between the Terminal and the recep-tion area
Veterinary
Animal standing shed (treatment of injury or sickness)
A modern and equipped quarantine area
Storage Equipment
Barn
Total capacity of 10 million heads of livestock / year
Under construction – (ready by 2017-18)
