While watching this, what came to mind was when Allah says about those who disbelieve "tashaabahat quluubahum" (their hearts are alike). Although these rebels saw their people slaughtered and starved by the regime of Mengistu, they had no problem doing the exact same thing once they were able to. May Allah make us people who will spread the justice of his deen, rather than the oppression of kufr as they do.
