This time around, the SA version only differs in one position from the official World XI, with our players choosing FC Barcelona's 2018 World Cup winner Samuel Umtiti over the much-criticised inclusion of Dani Alves.Longstanding rivals Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who both failed to attend the official ceremony, were selected for sbo168 a record-breaking 12th time, while Sergio Ramos has been in the past nine World XIs.The Best Men's Player of 2018, Luka Modric, received the most votes worldwide, having been selected by 20 473 of the 25 000 participating footballers, followed by Marcelo and Ronaldo.Kylian Mbappe became the youngest player to be selected for the World XI, beating previous sbo168 record holder Messi, while David de Gea was the only Manchester United player to make the team.v
